"Izumi
Spans The Pacific"

- Novi. Tapped by WIT (Women in International
Trade), Izumi Suzuki will be featured in a trans-pacific
presentation entitled “Cultural Hashi: bridging
the gap with Japan."
The WIT event will be held at the brand-new, high-tech
world bridge facility at Wayne State University
on September 13, in video conference with Japan.
The WSU world bridge facility, graced with the
deign talents of Dominique Pangborn and the electronics
of Mitsubishi, is a premier location for such
globe-spanning seminars and conferencing.
Suzuki will be joined in the presentations by
Gary Konop, commercial officer for the U.S. Department
of Commerce in Nagoya, Japan. “We are pleased
to have Izumi be part of our presentation. She
is especially knowledgeable, with keen insights
and a willingness to share her expertise with
others,” says Katherine Kinney, president of
WIT and Export Development Manager at the Detroit
