Novi Civic Center Cherry Tree Planting Ceremony One hundred years ago, a gift of more than 3000 cherry trees was sent from Japan to the US. In celebration of this anniversary, commemorative events are being held across the US this year. The City of Novi is going to plant trees in 4 locations and the tree planting ceremony will take place at Novi Civic Center on Saturday, May 19 from 3:30pm to 5pm. One of the trees will be dedicated to the late Steve Myers, co-owner and Principal Associate of SMA, who passed away suddenly this January, in appreciation of his dedicated work for cross-cultural understanding between Japan and the US.

ATA Certification Committee Ms. Suzuki was appointed to be a member of the ATA Certification Committee. The Committee implements and manages an examination which is provided not only in the US but also around the world.
